With Daniel Gottlieb Türk—he was the author of a large piano school at the time of the French Revolution—I stumbled upon a movement of thirds that made me think of minimalist structures. The musical play with these thirds resulted in 12 Punkt 6.

The piece is divided into exposition, two times five thematically nested sections and the conclusion. From the starting point of the simple game with thirds, it oscillates between the two musical colors of the sections that vary the game until it finally returns to the starting point.
